The Travelling Folk

The Travelling Folk (TTF) is a travelling folk club for West Kent and East Sussex. We don't meet regularly in one venue but gather in pre-selected pubs around the area on the first and third Thursdays of each month to enjoy ourselves and to bring folk music to those who may not have had the opportunity of experiencing a live folk session before. |

Isfield Weekend - 27-29 July 2012

This year’s informal folk weekend will take place at The Laughing Fish in Isfield village from Friday 27 to Sunday 29 July.

Arrangements will be much as in previous years except, due to the Olympics opening ceremony, there will be no session in the pub on the Friday evening. Also we are hoping that we will have the field to ourselves this year! A brief outline of events is as follows:

Friday- Late afternoon Cream Tea Workshop led by Beverley & Martin
Evening watching the Olympic Opening Ceremony in the pub or socialising/singing in the marquee

Saturday- Lunchtime session in the pub
Afternoon walk along the River Ouse
Communal early evening meal on the field
Session in the pub in the evening

Sunday – Boules competion in the morning
Lunchtime session in the pub

See you there!

Terry & Steff
